Hi, I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to stress through personal, as well as professional, experience.
Back in 1990, I would have described myself as a stressed out mum and a real worrier. In fact, after the birth of my second child, I stressed myself into a full-on bout of post natal depression.
Eventually I just ground to a halt. One day, while walking in the gardens of a mental health unit, I asked myself a powerful question:
‘How did this happen…?’
And I’ve spent the last thirty years finding out the answers. Along the way I became a counsellor, psychotherapist and therapeutic coach. I wrote the book PTSD Resolution, founded a mental health charity and became founding principal of the Integrated Coaching Academy.
I’ve taught thousands of mental health professionals and now I want to pass on the professional secrets to wellbeing that everyone should have access to.
